As I don’t eat meat or fish or any dead animal stuff, I was a bit surprised to find a Salmon’s head in my fridge. Either Sophie is pampering the poorly pussycat or I owe a fairly bizarre debt to a Mafia boss.

    Are you sure Don Rumpole isn’t high up in the feline Cosa Nostra as well as low in the IQ stakes? That could explain it.
